Bulldogs Fall Short In Late Rally Surge

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A late rally in the final four minutes of the contest gave North Florida an, 72-66, victory over visiting South Carolina State Saturday (Nov.19th) on the CSI Companies Court.
 
South Carolina State was led by Rakeim Gary with points and four rebounds, while Raquan Brown added 11 points and Justin Wilson nine points. Brown and Wilson both grabbed a team-high eight rebounds in the loss.
 
UNF was led by Jose Placer with 18 points and Carter Hendricksen with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Jarius Hicklen chipped in 11 points, four 4 rebounds, 5 assist and 2 steals in the win.
 
UNF improves to 1-2 on the season, while SC State falls to 0-5.
