Orangeburg, SC—The South Carolina State women's soccer team fell short in their match against MEAC Member, Delaware State a 0-3 defeat Sunday (Oct 23) at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium/Willie Jeffries Field.

Liz-Amanda Brown and the Lady Bulldogs played tough throughout the way with shot attempts from
Jordin Harris and
Faith Sparks.
The Lady Hornets jumped out to a lead of 2-0 early in the 1
st half. Before going into halftime, the Bulldogs score their first goal at 00:51 by
Amari Thomas.
Denim Whitted score the 2
nd goal in the 2
nd half at 6:35 making the score 3-2 and a chance to come back and tie the game. The Lady Hornets managed to secure another goal at 2:41 and clinch the win.
