Women’s Soccer Team to Host Shaw Wednesday

ORANGEBURG, SC – The South Carolina State women's soccer team returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 8 against Shaw University at the O.C. Dawson Stadium/Willie Jeffries Field. First kick is 7 p.m.

The Lady Bulldogs enter the match with a 0-4 overall record after falling to Alabama State 0-3, on Friday (Sept. 3). Shaw (0-1) dropped a tough decision to Mt. Olive 1-4 in their season opener on Thursday (Sept. 2).

The last time the two teams met was on Oct. 27, 2018 with the Lady Bulldogs closing out the season in style with a 3-0 win over Shaw.

Next up, SC State returns action on Sunday, Sept. 12 when they travel to Spartanburg, SC to take on USC-Upstate. The Lady Bulldogs return back to its home field on Thursday, Sept 16 when they host Stetson University in a 5 p.m. start.
