SC State Drops Tough Decision To Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.—The South Carolina State women's soccer team suffered a tough, 0-2, setback to Jacksonville University Tuesday (Aug. 31st) at Southern Oak Stadium.

The Lady Bulldogs (0-3) were looking to avenge an earlier 0-7 defeat to the Dolphins (4-1-1) in their season-opener.

JU attempted eleven (11) shots and nine (9) corner kicks to come away with a 2-0 win over the undersized SCSU team who played with 10 players on the roster.

Next up South Carolina State will host SWAC foe Alabama State on Friday (Sept. 3rd) at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium/Willie Jeffries Field. First Kick is 7 p.m.
