Williamsburg, VA – The Lady Bulldogs drop a 0-5 defeat road match to Hampton University on Sunday (Sept. 26th) at the new Wanner Stadium.
The Lady Bulldogs still without several starters managed to start the game with 10 players, but ended with 8 players due to injuries.
"The girls played hard and more importantly there were positive in not giving up" said head coach
Patrick Horne. "This is the second game played with just 10 players and the team is getting better every game despite the record."
Livia Silva (Rio De Janeiro, Brazil) led the team in saves with a game-high eight saves, three in the first half. The Lady Bulldogs were only down 0-2 during intermission, before Hampton capped off three (3) more goals to seal an 0-5 victory.
Silva added five more saves in the second-half to extend her season total to 18.
