CONWAY, SC—The South Carolina State women's basketball team will open the 2020-21 season Saturday (Nov. 28^th) on the road against Coastal Carolina at HTC Center. Tip-off is 1 p.m.

There will be no outside tickets available. Attendance will be limited to those listed on the team pass lists.

The Lady Bulldogs struggled last season finishing the season at 3-24 overall. Freshman Jayah Hicks was named to the MEAC All-Rookie Team, while senior guard Heniaya Moton earned All-MEAC honors.

The Chanticleers are coming off of the best season in Coastal women's basketball history with an overall record of 25-4 and a Sun Belt Conference record of 15-3.

LAST TIME THEY MET: The Chanticleers defeated South Carolina State last season 85-44 in The HTC Center and have a three-game winning streak against the Bulldogs.

The Coastal Carolina women's basketball game will be broadcast on the Chanticleer Radio Network on 105.5 Hank FM and also broadcast online on ESPN+.
 
SC State returns to action on Wednesday (Dec. 2^nd) in their home-opener versus Winthrop University in a 2 p.m. start.
