ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State women's tennis team will begin their quest for their 14^th overall Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Championship Thursday, when they host UNC-Wilmington at the Hardeep Judge Tennis Center.  First serve is 2 pm.

All-MEAC Coach Hardeep Judge returns three veterans and welcomes five newcomers to this year's squad.

The Lady Bulldogs (0-0) have won 12 of the last 13 titles, the last in 2017 knocking off the No. 1 seed Hampton University 4-3 in Norfolk, VA.

UNC-Wilmington (0-1) enters the contest after a 4-3 loss to Wofford in their season-opener on Saturday, Jan.19^th at home.
