ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State football team will hold its annual Media/Picture Day Saturday (Aug. 11
th) beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Oliver. C. Dawson Stadium.
Media outlets will get a chance to have one-on-one interviews with head coach Buddy Pough, assistant coaches and some of the top returners and newcomers on this year's roster.
The Bulldogs wrapped up their seventh (7
th ) preseason practice Friday (Aug. 10-
th ) in full pads in preparation for the first scrimmage on Saturday evening, beginning at 3:10 p.m.
The Bulldogs will be off on Sunday (Aug. 12
th) before returning to the field on Monday (Aug.13
th) morning at 9:10 a.m. , and Tuesday (Aug.14
th) afternoon at 2:30 p.m. in full gear.
The annual "Meet the Players Day/Fan Fest," hosted by The S.T.A.T.E Club, is set for Saturday, Aug. 25, from 3 p.m.-6 p.m. School supplies will be given away by Bulldog coaches and players to the first 120 kids in attendance.
Five (5) former Bulldogs will be inducted into the 2018 South Carolina State Hall of Fame during a special induction Ceremony Friday, Sept. 14
th at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. Tickets are still available at $50 per person or $450 per table (10). For more information, contact the SC State Ticket Office.
