WTEN: Lady Bulldogs Knock Off FAMU 4-3

TALLAHASSEE, FL.- The South Carolina State women's tennis team moved one step closer to claiming the Southern Division Regular Season Championship Title with an, 4-3, victory over Florida A&M Saturday (March. 31^st) at the Rattler Tennis Center.

The Lady Bulldogs improve to 5-4 overall, 3-0 in the MEAC, while FAMU falls to 2-11 overall, 2-1 in the league.

Florida &M claimed the doubles point early on, while SC State controlled the singles match with wins at the No.2, No. 4, No. 5 and the No. 6 spots.

South Carolina State last two remaining matches are league showdowns with NC Central and Bethune-Cookman.
