JOHNSON CITY, Tenn.—The South Carolina State Lady Bulldogs soccer team dropped their season opener 8-0 to East Tennessee State Friday (Aug.8^th) in a non-conference matchup at Summers-Taylor Stadium.

South Carolina State falls to 0-1, while ETSU improves to 1-0 on the season.

SC State returns to action on Sunday (Aug. 20) on the road at The Citadel. First kick is 1 p.m.
