BUIES CREEK, N.C. – South Carolina State captured an impressive road win in a 4-1 victory over Campbell University Wednesday (April.12) in non-conference action.

South Carolina State was originally scheduled to visit Campbell on Thursday, April 6, but the match was rescheduled due to weather.

Campbell got on the board first winning the doubles point.

Meanwhile in singles action, Intissar Rassif def. Alexandra Andrivot (7-6, 7-6) at the No.1 spot; Oleksandra Filippova def. Lea Cutura (6-3,2-6, 6-2) at the No. 2 spot; Andjela Vasic def. Alexandra Nicoara (6-4, 7-6) at the No. 3 spot and Marketa Marcanikova def. Pauline Roustan 6-3, 4-6, 8-6 at the No. 4 spot.

The Lady Bulldogs improved to 6-9 overall, 5-0 in the MEAC.
