ORANGEBURG, SC---The South Carolina State women's soccer team held on to post their second victory of the season in a 1-0 victory over Delaware State Friday (Oct. 6^th) at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium/Willie Jeffries Field.

South Carolina State improves to 2-10 overall, while Delaware State falls to 1-12 overall on the season.

The Lady Bulldogs posted the only score of the night on a corner shot by Jamey Thomas at the 5:35 mark in the contest.

South Carolina State returns to action Tuesday (Oct. 17) at Conway, SC against host Coastal Carolina, in a 7 pm start.
