ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State men's and women's tennis team will play host to visiting Bethune-Cookman on Saturday (April.2) in a pivotal Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference showdown at the Hardeep Judge Tennis Center. First serve begins at 10 a.m. for the women, and 1 p.m. for the men.

The Bulldogs enters the contest with a 7-6 overall, 2-1 MEAC record. Meanwhile, the Wildcats 10-8 overall, 2-0 in the league currently holds the top spot in the Southern Division.

On the women's side, South Carolina State is tied with Bethune-Cookman at the top spot in the Southern Division with a 3-0 MEAC, 4-9 overall record. BC-U last year's defending MEAC champion enters the contest with a 10-10 overall, 3-0 league record.
