ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State women's tennis team will host Southern Mississippi in a non-conference matchup Wednesday (Mar.16) at the Hardeep Judge Tennis Courts. First serve is 2 p.m.

The Lady Bulldogs (1-8) will look to turn things around against a talented Southern Mississippi (11-2) at home.

South Carolina State hopes to end a four match losing streak after suffering setbacks to Stetson (1-6) on 2/216, Duquesne (1-6) on 3/1/16, Campbell University (1-6) on 3/8/16 and Coastal Carolina (0-7) on 3/10/16.

Meanwhile, SMU have won three in a row with wins over Georgia Southern (6-1) on 3/11/16, UNC Greensboro, 6-1 on 3/12/16 and Kennesaw State 4-0 on 3/13/16.
