CHAPEL HILL – The South Carolina State (3-7) women's basketball team close out its non-conference schedule on the road versus North Carolina (10-2) Friday (Dec. 30) in a 2 p.m. showdown at Carmichael Arena.

Meanwhile, UNC has won six of its last seven games leading into Friday. The Tar Heels have shot above 50.0 percent in back-to-back games for the first time this season and have done so three times overall. North Carolina is led by Stephanie Watts with 19.6 ppg and 9.1 rebounds.
