STATESBORO, GA—The South Carolina State women's tennis team will open the 2016 season on the road Tuesday (Jan.26) at Wallis Tennis Center in Statesboro, Ga.  First serve begins at 1 p.m.

Meanwhile, South Carolina State was chosen to finish second in the southern division during the preseason. Last season the Lady Bulldogs fell short in the MEAC title game against eventual champion Bethune-Cookman.
