SC State defense was spearheaded by All-MEAC linebacker redshirt sophomore

Tyler Scandrett connected on his second of three field goals of the night on kicks of 38-yards and 21-yards in the second quarter.
The Bulldogs dominated the second-half with a 10-yard touchdown run by redshirt junior
Justin Taylor in the third quarter at the 4:11 mark. Taylor found the end zone once again early in the fourth quarter on 14-yard run to seal the victory.
South Carolina State will be IDLE next week and return to action on Saturday, Oct. 3 on the road against Furman University. Kickoff is 7 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN3.
