ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State women's tennis team falls to 2-6 overall on the season after suffering back-to-back defeats to Campbell and Georgia Southern.
Against Campbell the Lady Bulldogs were defeated 4-2 Thursday afternoon at the
Hardeep Judge Tennis Center. Due to inclement weather, the match was shortened to a singles-play only match.
The Camels claimed victory in four-of-six completed matches played against the Bulldogs.
Georgia Southern 4, South Carolina State 0STATESBORO, GA—The South Carolina State women's tennis team dropped their second straight match, after a 4-0 defeat to Georgia Southern on Wednesday (Mar.5) at Wallis Tennis Complex.
Typically, matches are contested with 7 points on the line, however, the Eagles began by taking 4 points and clinching the
match, so the rest of the in progress matches were unfinished.
