St. Bonaventure (6-2) looks to extend their winning streak to three in a row after posting key victories over Ohio (81-68) and Vermont (80-68). The Bonnies have three players in double-figures with senior Marcus Posley leading the way with 17.1 points per game. Dion Wright and Jaylen Adams each chips in over 16.0 points per contest. Wright is the leader on the boards with 9.0 rebounds.
The Bulldogs improved in several categories from last season averaging 75.1 points per game, while limiting turnovers and also averaging 5.1 steals per contest.
South Carolina State returns action Tuesday (Dec. 22) against Eastern Carolina in a 7 p.m. start, meanwhile after the holiday break the Bulldogs travel to the Midwest for another three-game road swing beginning with The Ohio State on Dec. 27 in 6 p.m. (EST) non-conference matchup.
