Javon Hargrave was named to the AP FCS All-American First Team announced by the Associated Press.
The Salisbury, NC native was recently named the MEAC Defensive Player of the Year and the BOXTOROW National Defensive Player of the Year for his stellar performance on defense for the Bulldogs this season.A top 10 finalist for the Buck Buchannan Award, Hargrave led the MEAC and ranks fourth in the nation with 16 sacks for losses totaling 199 yards, and fourth in FCS in tackles for loss (24) and tied a conference and FCS-record with six sacks in a SCSU victory over Bethune-Cookman (10/25/14).THE 2014 ASSOCIATED PRESS FCS ALL-AMERICA TEAM.
