ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The South Carolina State women's volleyball and women's soccer teams will both be in action today.
The volleyball team, playing at home for just the second time this season, takes the court at 6 p.m. against Charleston Southern. The Lady Bulldogs (1-16) played CSU (7-13) earlier this season, falling 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-18). In that match, reigning SC State Female Athlete of the Week
Marissa Lawrence had a team-high 10 kills. Last weekend, the volleyball team picked up its first win of the season after beating Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference opponent Savannah State 3-1.
The soccer team travels to Florence, S.C. for a 7 p.m. game at Francis Marion (0-10). In their last outing, the Lady Bulldogs (1-9) fell 1-0 to Winthrop University on September 21. On the season,
