ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The South Carolina State women's volleyball team and men's and women's cross country teams are all competing this weekend.
The volleyball team heads to Savannah, Ga. to take on Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference opponent Savannah State at 6 p.m. on Friday. The Lady Bulldogs are 0-16 overall and 0-2 in MEAC play. They fell 3-0 to both Bethune-Cookman and Florida A&M last weekend.
Savannah State (3-14, 0-2 MEAC) also lost 3-0 to both MEAC Florida schools last weekend. Live stats and video streaming are available here.
The Bulldog cross country teams are set to run at the HBCU Challenge in Cary, N.C. on Saturday morning. They participated in the Will Wilson Citadel Invitational last Saturday and the women finished in 6th place, while the men finished 7th. Jenae Jones (20:52.8, 5K) and Elijah Case (3:52.9, 8K) were the top finishers for SC State.
