Lady Bulldogs Show Strong Performance In MEAC Tennis Roundup

All-MEAC and nationally-ranked senior performer Maria Craciun leads the charge for the Lady Bulldogs this season.

FLORENCE, SC—The South Carolina State Lady Bulldogs improved to 6-2 on the season, after going 3-0 over the weekend posting victories over NC Central (5-2), Savannah State (4-0), and N.C. A&T State (4-0), at the MEAC Tennis Roundup held in Florence, SC.
        Coach Hardeep Judge is looking to lead the Lady Bulldogs to their 9^th straight league crown and remain undefeated in the conference. All-MEAC and nationally-ranked performer senior Maria Craciun led the charge for SC State going 3-0 in singles and double action over the weekend.
        The Lady Bulldogs sparked a four game winning streak after knocking off South Alabama (2/23/13) 4-3, along with conference foes NC Central, Savannah State, and N.C. A&T State over the weekend.
        Craciun is 6-2 on the season in both singles and doubles action; while teammate Laura Bosneag leads the way with a 7-1 overall record in singles. Freshman Klara Dohnalova has really come on strong for SC State this season going 6-2 in singles action and doubles while teaming up with Craciun.
        SC State will return to action on Saturday when they host non-conference opponent Kennesaw State in women's tennis action. First serve is 1 p.m.
