Orangeburg, S.C.—After having a week off from competition the SC State University women's soccer team returns to action this weekend against Mississippi Valley State and Alabama State.
SC State (0-1), who opened its 2011 campaign with a loss to Clemson, will look to get back to winning ways when they travel to Itta Bena, Miss. on Friday (Aug. 26) to take on Mississippi Valley State. The Lady Bulldogs will then to travel to Montgomery, Ala. to take on Alabama State Sunday (Aug. 28).
The Lady Bulldogs will open its 2011 home season next Friday, Sept. 2 when they host Georgia Southern. Next Friday's match is set for a 7 p.m. start at the Oliver C. Dawson Bulldog Stadium on the campus of SC State.
