DURHAM, NC—The South Carolina State basketball teams will play their regular season finale on the road tonight against North Carolina Central in an exciting doubleheader. Tip-off for the women's game is 6 p.m., with the men following at 8 p.m.

           The Lady Bulldogs winners of their last three MEAC contest posted a huge 76-70 victory over Florida A&M on the road.

          Coach Doug Robertson Lady Bulldogs (10-16 overall, 6-10 MEAC) are led in scoring by senior guard/forward Whitney Wiley with 11.1 ppg and a team-leading 46 steals. Newcomer and junior forward/center Fannie Goodwin adds depths in the post with 7.6 ppg and leads the team in rebounding with 6.5  rpg, while sophomore guard Tiara Knotts chips in a little over 8.5 points per contest.,                 

        Meanwhile, South Carolina State (9-20, 5-11 MEAC) squeaked out a tough 65-53 victory over Florida A&M on Monday.  SC State is led in by senior guard/forward Darnell Porter with 12.4 ppg and 4.2 rpg, while junior guard Brandon Riley is second with 9.8 points per contest, junior Omar Sanders and Joe Ikhinmwin ,sophomore guard Khalif Toombs, and senior guard Tyvon Williams is chipping in a little over 7.1 per outing.
