Orangeburg, SC—The SC State men and women golf teams will open their 2009 spring season this Friday-Saturday, March 6-7, at the Fairfield Spring Invitational. The invitational, which is hosted by Fairfield University (CT), will be held at the Crown Park Golf Course in North Myrtle Beach, SC.

 

The Crown Park Golf Course is an 18 hole course with a par of 72. The teams will play a total of 54 holes including both tournament days and a practice round on Thursday, March 5.

 

The Bulldog men will have one week off before traveling to Tallahassee, FL, Friday-Saturday, March 20-21 to participate in the Florida A&M Tournament. The women's team will host Savannah State, on Friday, April 3 before hosting the Bulldog Classic, Saturday-Sunday, April 4-5. The Savannah State game and the Bulldog Classic will be held at the Hillcrest Golf Course in Orangeburg, SC.
