South Carolina State University Athletics

Sidney Fulton, IV is entering his 10th year as the head equipment manager at South Carolina State University. Prior to his current position, he served two seasons as the assistant equipment manager for the Bulldog athletic programs. 
 
Fulton is responsible for handling equipment and apparel for all 14 Bulldog sports, as well as supervising a staff of student-managers.

As a student at SC State, Fulton began his college career as a member of the football team, which was followed by a three year stint as a videographer in the athletics department.

A native of Orangeburg, S.C., Fulton earned his bachelor’s degree in business management in 2004 from SC State. He is a graduate of Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School. 

Fulton is certified in the equipment field by the Athletic Equipment Manager Association. He is married to the former Demenia Mays and they are the proud parents of one son, Sidney V.
