Rikkelle Miller is a former professional softball player and accomplished coach with a history of record-breaking achievements. She made history as the first HBCU athlete in the Women’s Professional Fastpitch (WPF) league, winning a championship in 2024. Collegiately, she was a 2022 NCAA Woman of the Year nominee and earned NCAA Division II Second Team NFCA All-America honors, becoming the first player in King University’s history to receive this recognition. She also earned NCAA DII Second Team D2CCA All-America recognition, multiple All-Conference and All-Region accolades, and First Team All-Defense honors, in addition to two-time All-Conference Carolinas First Team and Tournament First Team honors.
Rikkelle began her collegiate career at Grambling State University, where she hit .421 as a freshman, earned All-HBCU Division I Second Team honors, was named to the HBCU All-Rookie Team, and ranked #21 nationally in NCAA Division I. She also received SWAC Freshman of the Year and Second Team All-Conference honors, while being recognized as Grambling State Softball’s Most Valuable Player. Later at King University, she led the team to a conference championship and a school-record 42–17 season.
As a coach, Rikkelle has worked with youth and collegiate athletes, developing skills in pitching, hitting, fielding, and leadership. She served as an assistant coach at Bluefield State University, focusing on player growth, team strategy, and mentorship, and as a volunteer head coach for Nike RBI Softball in Atlanta, GA.
Rikkelle continues to inspire and elevate athletes through her experience, dedication, and passion for the game.
