Donisha Johnson

Donisha Johnson is entering her third season as the head coach of the SC State University softball team. Johnson is no stranger to the Lady Bulldog softball program. During the 2008 season she served as the pitcher and catcher’s coach and in 2007 she was a graduate assistant in the same capacity.
 
Johnson was a four-year letter-winner (2002-2006) at SC State where she was the starting pitcher all four seasons. During her time as a player, Johnson was one of the top athletes in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference where she earned Second Team All-MEAC Honors her freshman and sophomore seasons.
 
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Johnson earned both her bachelor’s in Biology (2006), and a master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling (2007) from SC State. During her spare time she counsel and assists victims of various crisis as well as educate communities on domestic violence. Johnson is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
