ORANGEBURG, S.C. — South Carolina State volleyball returns to action this week when the Lady Bulldogs travel to Charleston for three matches in the Lowcountry Volleyball Championship.
SC State will compete on three consecutive days, beginning Thursday, Sept. 3, and concluding Saturday, Sept. 5. The Bulldogs are scheduled to face Charleston Southern, The Citadel and College of Charleston during the three-day event.
South Carolina State opens tournament play Thursday at 3 p.m. against host Charleston Southern.
The Lady Bulldogs return to court Friday for a 6 p.m. matchup against The Citadel before closing out the invitational Saturday at 3 p.m. against College of Charleston.
All three contests will be played in Charleston.
The tournament provides SC State with another opportunity to continue its early-season development while facing three in-state opponents.
