NORFOLK, Va., Apr. 15, 2026 — South Carolina State junior
Robert Carter was named MEAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week the league announced.
Also earning honors were Coppin State senior Solomon Hammond who was named Men's Track Athlete of the Week
Carter (Jr., Pennsauken, NJ.) set new personal records in both the hammer throw with a toss of 49.50 meters, which ranks second in the MEAC, and the shot put with a throw of 16.58 meters, which ranks first in the MEAC, with both marks moving him to second all-time in South Carolina State program history for both events.

- Zion Amadi (NCCU) took silver in the 200 meters in 21.10 and posted a personal-best 46.91 in the 400 meters, while also contributing to a fourth-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay at the Duke Invitational.
- Tinashe Bure (SCSU) set a personal-best and school record in the 800 meters with a time of 1:49.06 at the South Florida Invitational.
- Alexander Dobson-Honablue (CSU) recorded a leap of 14.95 meters in the triple jump and a throw of 47.10 meters in the javelin at the Duke Invitational.
- Marian Drazan (DSU) claimed gold in the men's 1500 meters, clocking a winning time of 3:50.30.
- Abraham Evans (HOW) won the 100 meters at the Bison Classic clocking in at 10.42.
- Ja'Mari Manson (DSU) captured first place in the men's high jump with a clearance of 2.11 meters.
- Caleb Mincey (MSU) posted a personal-best 3:51.76 in the 1500 meters at the Duke Invitational.
- Isaac Rankin (MSU) tied for ninth in the high jump at the Duke Invitational with a leap of 2.01 meters.
- Landon Walker (NSU) placed fourth in the pole vault at the Duke Invitational, with a leap of 4.66 meters.
- Kendrick Winfield (NSU) clocked a time of 21.19 in the 200 meters at the Duke Invitational.
