2026 MEAC Tennis Championships Return to Cary Tennis Park

NORFOLK, Va., April 14, 2026 – The 2026 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Tennis Championships is set for April 23-25 in Cary, N.C., at the Cary Tennis Park.  

South Carolina State University's men's team enters the MEAC Tennis Championship with an unblemished 5–0 conference record and looks to extend its championship streak to six consecutive titles, while Morgan State and Norfolk State women's tennis teams enter postseason play at 5–1, each with just one conference loss. 

Championship action begins Thursday, April 23, at 8 a.m. with the women's quarterfinal matches, followed by the men's quarterfinals at 2 p.m. 

Semifinal play begins Friday, April 24, with the women at 9 a.m. and the men at 12 p.m. The tournament concludes Saturday, April 25, with the women's final at 9 a.m., followed by the men's championship match at 12 p.m. 

All matches will be played at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, North Carolina. 

The men's and women's championship matches will be streamed live on ESPN+.

About the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference   
The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) is in its 55th year of intercollegiate competition with the 2025-26 academic school year. Located in Norfolk, Va., the MEAC is made up of eight outstanding historically black institutions across the Atlantic coastline: Coppin State University, Delaware State University, Howard University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Morgan State University, Norfolk State University, North Carolina Central University and South Carolina State University.
