ORANGEBURG, SC—Iemyiah Harris tossed in a team-high 19 points, but it wasn't enough as South Carolina State Lady Bulldogs dropped an tough 68-64 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) contest to visiting NC Central Wednesday (Feb.18) inside Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.
Senior guard
Janiah Hinton added 13 points and two (2) steals, while
Monajah Ford chipped in 10 in the loss.
South Carolina State falls to 5-20 overall,2-7 in the MEAC, while NC Central improves to 8-16 overall, 4-6 in the league.
Despite the loss, SCSU led in several categories including second chance points (12-9), points off turnovers (30-18) and bench points (38-32),
NCCU was led by Tierney Coleman with 17 points and seven (7) rebounds, while Natalie Jasper chipped in 16.
