Women’s Basketball Host Morgan State Monday Afternoon

ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State women's basketball return to action Monday (Feb. 16) afternoon in a afternoon MEAC battle with visiting Morgan State inside Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. Tipoff is set for 2:00 p.m.

OPPONENT: Morgan State Bears (3-22 overall, 2-7 MEAC) vs. South Carolina State (5-18 overall, 2-6 MEAC).

Admission: General seating is $10. Youth tickets ages 3-17 and other college students w/valid ID are $5.

LAST TIMEOUT: SC State dropped an tough 72-39 to Coppin State on Thursday (Feb. 12) at home. Shaunice Reed added seven (7) points, while on the defensive side Ja' Siiyah Holmes finished with four (4) points, nine (9) rebounds and three (3) blocks.

Meanwhile, Morgan State look to get back things on the winning track after a tough overtime loss to NC Central 66-63 in Durham, NC. Tiyanna James led the way with a team-high 23 points.
