NORFOLK, Va., Feb. 13, 2026 – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) will host the 2026 Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Va., Sunday, February 22, and Monday, February 23.
Monday's action will be streamed live on
ESPN+, beginning at 12 p.m.
Tickets are available for purchase online through the Virginia Beach Sports Center or on-site throughout the event. Please note that
cash sales will not be accepted. Single-day tickets are $20 for Sunday and Monday, while weekend passes are available for $25.
The MEAC encourages all Virginia AAU and high school teams to attend the championship event

On the women's side, the Howard University Bison aim to extend their dominance with a fifth consecutive Indoor Track & Field Championship.
The men's title race features the Norfolk State Spartans, who also look to capture their fifth straight championship since 2022, a streak that would be the longest active run since the Spartans won eight consecutive MEAC titles from 2006–2013.
Competition will begin on Sunday, February 22 at 8:30 a.m. with the women's pentathlon, kicking off the weekend of indoor track action. Sunday will also feature the men's heptathlon, the awarding of the first championship medals in the Women's and Men's 3,000-meter runs, Women's weight throw, Men's long jump, Men's pole vault, Men's shot put, Men's high jump, Women's long jump, and the Men's and Women's Distance Medley Relay (DMR).
Championship Monday's events will start with the men's heptathlon at 8:30 a.m., followed by the men's weight throw at 10:00 a.m. and the women's triple jump at 11:00 a.m. Additional medal events will include Women's and Men's 60-meter hurdles, Women's and Men's 60-meter dash, Women's mile, Men's mile, Women's pole vault, Men's triple jump, Women's shot put, Women's and Men's 400-meter dash, Women's and Men's 800-meter run, Women's and Men's 200-meter dash, Women's high jump, Women's and Men's 5000-meter run. The championships will conclude with the men's and women's 4x400-meter relay finals at 3:20 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., closing out an exciting weekend of competition.
