Volleyball Travels to NC Central for MEAC Road Matchup Friday

ORANGEBURG, S.C. — The South Carolina State women's volleyball team returns to Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) action Friday, Oct. 16, when the Lady Bulldogs travel to Durham, North Carolina, to face North Carolina Central University.

First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m. as SC State continues its conference schedule with another challenging road matchup against the Eagles.

The Lady Bulldogs enter the contest looking to regain momentum and turn recent competitive efforts into positive results. SC State will focus on improving its offensive execution, strengthening its defensive play and maintaining consistency throughout the match.

Friday's contest presents another opportunity for the Lady Bulldogs to demonstrate their growth and determination as they continue navigating a competitive MEAC schedule.

North Carolina Central will look to take advantage of its home court, while SC State aims to establish an early rhythm, limit unforced errors and capitalize on scoring opportunities.

For the Lady Bulldogs, communication, defensive positioning and strong serving will be important factors in their effort to secure a conference road victory.

SC State enters Friday's matchup following road losses to Norfolk State and Howard. The Lady Bulldogs pushed Howard to four sets Sunday after falling in three sets to Norfolk State on Oct. 9.

North Carolina Central also looks to bounce back after road setbacks against Norfolk State and Howard. The Eagles previously earned a five-set conference victory over Morgan State on Oct. 2, demonstrating their ability to compete in closely contested matches.
