ORANGEBURG, SC—South Carolina State head football coach Chennis Berry adds more depth on the offensive coach staff with the addition of Dylan Foster as the Assistant Offensive Line Coach.

Foster arrives in Bulldog Country after a brief stint at Western New Mexico University, where he served as the Tight Ends Coach.

He began his coaching career at his alma mater, Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina, in December 2024 as an Offensive Graduate Assistant. During his time at LR, Foster assisted with on- and off-campus recruiting, worked closely with the offensive line, and contributed to ?lm breakdown and analysis.

As a player, Foster had a successful ?ve-year career at Lenoir-Rhyne, making 30 career starts and playing in games at all ?ve positions on the offensive line. He helped lead the Bears to a 40-13 overall record, served as a team captain, won the 2023 South Atlantic Conference Championship, and played a key role in a run to the NCAA Division II Semi?nals.

Foster earned his bachelor's degree in Sports Management and Finance in 2024 and completed his Master of Business Administration at Lenoir-Rhyne in 2025.

Foster is from Landover, Maryland and a proud graduate of DeMatha Catholic High School.
