ORANGEBURG, SC– South Carolina State will play an exciting 12-game football schedule during the 2025 campaign. The slate includes seven road games and five home contests at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium/Willie Jeffries Field.
Second-year head coach
Chennis Berry's and the defending Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Champions will have bye week on Oct. 18
th.
Five Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference matchups are on the schedule, which will see SC State play its season opener at home hosting intrastate rival Wofford on Aug. 30
th at 6:00 pm, followed by a trip up I-26 to take on SEC foe University of South Carolina (Sept. 6) and then a return home to host visiting Bethune-Cookman on (Sept. 13) at 6:00 pm.
Back-to-back road games include a trip to the Sunshine State to take South Florida (Sept. 20), then back to Palmetto State versus Charleston Southern (Sept.27) .
Homecoming will be a one for the books as the Bulldogs welcome MEAC foe and Coach Berry's Alma Mater Savannah State for a showdown in O.C. Dawson Stadium/Willie Jeffries Field.
Additional road games will include North Carolina A&T State (Oct. 11) in Greensboro, NC, Norfolk State (Oct. 25) in Norfolk, VA, North Carolina Central (Nov. 15) in Durham, NC and Delaware State (Nov.22) in Dover, DE.
South Carolina State will close out its home stand with MEAC Contest versus Morgan State (Nov.1) and Howard (Nov. 8) in Orangeburg, SC.
State Club membership and season tickets can't be purchased online yet; only by contacting the Ticket Office.
