ORANGEBURG, SC---South Carolina State men's basketball will look to extend their winning streak to four straight Monday (Feb. 17) when they host the visiting Eagles of Coppin State in a pivotal Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) showdown inside Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.

Tip-off is 7:30 p.m. immediately following the women's contest in a 5:30 p.m. start.

THE OCCASION: Both the men's and women's team will be playing for a worthy cause when South Carolina State will host Pink Night / Coaches v. Cancer / Play4Kay in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

THE MATCHUP:  South Carolina State (12-12 overall, 5-3 MEAC) is coming off an impressive 90-62 win over Morgan State Saturday (Feb. 15) at home. Omar Croskey led the way with team-high 16 points and two (2) steals.

Meanwhile, Coppin State (4-19 overall, 2-6 MEAC) enters the contest after dropping a tough 71-59 defeat to North Carolina Central. Three Eagles scored double figures with Toby Nnadozie and Peter Oduro adding 13 each and Khali Horton with 10 in the loss.

NEXT UP: South Carolina State returns to action on the road over the weekend when they head up north to take on Delaware State Saturday (Feb. 22), followed by a wrap up with UMES on Monday (Feb. 24) in Princess Anne, MD.
