Women’s Basketball On The Road at UNC Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The South Carolina State women's basketball team return to action Monday (Dec. 22) in a non-conference contest with UNC Greensboro (UNCG inside Bodford Arena. Tipoff is 2:00 PM (EST)

THE SERIES: The Spartans are 5-1 in the overall series against the Lady Bulldogs. UNCG took last season's meeting, 53-35, in Orangeburg, South Carolina, on Nov. 24, 2024. South Carolina State's only win in the series came in the 2022-23 season in Orangeburg, 64-53.

  • The team is second in the league in assist/turnover ratio (0.66), steals per game (11.3), three-point percentage defense (28.0) and turnovers forced per game (21.21).
  • Mya Byrd paces the MEAC with a 1.23 assist/turnover ratio.
  • Iemyiah Harris leads the conference with a 1.91 three-pointers per game average.
  • Shaunice Reed paces the team in double figures with a 12.0 scoring average.
  • Mya Bird leads the Bulldogs from the three-point line at 29.6 percent and assists per game, 3.1.
  • Angie Juste-Jean is leading the team with 5.0 rebounds per game.
  • Heaven Harper and Feliah Greer stand out defensively with seven blocks and 26 steals, respectively.
  • South Carolina State was voted to finish last in the 2025-26 MEAC Women's Basketball Predicted Order of Finish out of the eight-team league.
