ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State men's basketball team returns to action Friday (Dec. 19) at home versus Brewton-Parker Chrisitan University in a non-conference battle inside Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. Tipoff is set for 12 Noon.

Series vs. Brewton-Parker: South Carolina State leads the series 1-0. The last time the two teams met were December 22, 2023. SC State defeated Brewton-Parker 101-84 in Orangeburg, SC.

LAST TIME OUT: South Carolina State suffered 72-78 loss to USC Upstate in their last outing. The Bulldogs are off to one of the worst starts under head coach Erik Martin with an 0-12 start. Meanwhile, Brewton-Parker looks to get back on the winning track as well after suffering back-to-back losses to College of Coastal Georgia (84-91) and West Georgia (49-70).
 
South Carolina State: Junior Guard, Owen Bronston Jr. Leads the Bulldogs with 13.2 points per game where he has scored in double figures nine times through 12 games played. Chris Parker averages 9.0 points and 7.3 rebounds per outing.

BCP: Tommy Tisdale III leads the way for the Barons tossing in 14.8 points and 4.3rebounds per games, while Gil Gonzalez adds 13.3 ppg and 10.2 rebounds. Jayden Hill and Abraham each adds a little over 10.2 points respectively.
