ROCK HILL, SC—
Noah Treadwell tossed in a team-high 17 points, but it wasn't enough as South Carolina State dropped an 101-79 decision to Winthrop Saturday (Nov. 29) inside the Winthrop Coliseum.
Treadwell connected on 4-of-6 from three-point range, while
Owen Bronston, Jr. chipped in 14 points and three (3) rebounds.
Jayden Johnson added 11 points and three (3) assist in the loss.
Despite the loss, the Bulldogs led the way in bench points 43-25.
South Carolina State falls to 0-8 on the season while Eagles improve to 4-4.
NEXT UP: South Carolina State remains on the road and travels to the Midwest to take on Chicago State in a non-conference showdown Monday (Dec. 1) in an 11:00 am (CST)/12:00 noon (EST) start.
