• The Eagles have won back-to-back meetings, but the Bulldogs lead the all-time series 4-3
• All-time the Eagles are 15-13 against opponents from Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC)

South Carolina State

• Coming off a tough 66-98 to Missouri.
• Three Bulldogs led the way with Own Bronston, Jr. with 17=points, while Florian Tenebay added 13 and Rayniel Wright with 10 points.
• Bronston, Jr. leads the way in scoring with 13.1 while Cameron Clark chips in 10 per game.
• Cameron Clark is the leader in rebounds with 4.8, while D'Shay Knights Wright adds per outing,
• The Bulldogs are off to a rough 0-7 start of the 2025-26 campaign.
• South Carolina State was picked 3^rd in the MEAC Preseason Poll.
• Sophomore guard Jayden Johnson was picked as the MEAC Men's Basketball Preseason POY.

 
WINTHROP       

• Coming off an 80-73 road loss at undefeated Nebraska
• The game capped off a stretch of six out of seven games away from home to start the season for the Eagles
• The Eagles have four road losses by a combined total of 20 points (average loss of 5.0) against opponents with a combined record of 23-5
• Kareem Rozier led the Eagles with a career-high 23 points at Arkansas and also connected on a career-best seven threes
• Daylen Berry and Rozier lead the Eagles in scoring at 14.1 ppg
• In their only home game this season, the Eagles exploded for 105 points and a 36-point victory over Mercer on Nov. 15
• The offense was powered by 11 threes and a 26-for-37 performance at the free throw line
• Winthrop forced 19 turnovers that led to 27 points and had 23 fast break points.
