CHARLESTON—The South Carolina State men's basketball team return to action Friday (Nov. 14) on the road versus intrastate rival College of Charleston in a non-conference matchup inside TD Arena.

THE MATCHUP: South Carolina State looks to bounce back after suffering 62-85 defeat to former MEAC member N.C. A&T State on the road in Greensboro, NC.
Owen Bronston, Jr. led the way with a team-high 18 points and seven (7) rebounds in the loss. Senior guard
Florian Tenebay finished with 11 and seven rebounds on the day.
Meanwhile, Charleston is coming off back-to-back losses to Liberty (75-90) and Florida Atlantic (77-94). The Cougars are led by Martin Kalu with 14.7 points, while Jlynn Counter and Chol Machot adds 13.3 respectively.
NEXT UP: South Carolina State returns to palmetto state to take on College of Charleston on Friday (Nov. 14) in a 7:00 p.m. start.
