SERIES: The two teams are meeting for the 20^th time. SC State holds a 17-2 advantage in the rivalry and won the last meeting 21-17 at Orangeburg during the 2018 season. The Tigers recorded a 34-10 win at Savannah in 2017. Both teams are coming off losses. The Bulldogs fell on the road 31-24 to Charleston Southern, while Savannah State lost at home 37-20 to Kentucky State.

The Attraction: South Carolina State will be celebrating Homecoming. Alumni and supporters are invited to return to the campus to unite with former friends, classmates, and share memories and stories. Members of the 1979 Women's Basketball Team, which captured the AIAW National Div. II Championship, are serving as parade marshals and will be recognized and feted during the weekend.
