SERIES: The two teams have met 12 times dating back to 2010 with the Aggies leading the series 4-8 over the Bulldogs. The last time they met on the gridiron. South Carolina State defeated N.C. A&T State 45-25 (Sept. 24, 2024) in Orangeburg, SC.

LAST TIMEOUT: The Bulldogs improved to 3-3 with an impressive 49-6 win over visiting Savannah State during a Homecoming crowd of over 24, 000 on last week. Quarterback Ryan Stubblefield threw 14-of-30 for 206-yards and two (2) touchdowns, while William Atkins IV added 9-of-11 for 162-yards and three (3) scores.

Jordan Smith led the receiving corps with five (5) catches for 86-yards, while Darius Thompson posted a solid performance in a reserve role with two (2) receptions for 84-yards and two (2) touchdowns. Jalen Johnson managed to get into the mix of things with six (6) catches for 70-yards.

Meanwhile, The Aggies dropped their third straight in an 34-38 decision to William & Mary on the road. Prior to that N.C. A&T suffered defeats to NC Central 20-62 and Maine 30-37.

BULLDOG BITE: South Carolina State's wide receiver Darius Thompson has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Offensive Player of the Week, while teammate Roger Smith was named Offensive Line of the Week the league announced.
