BULLDOG BITES:
- This will be the 12th meeting between N.C. A&T State and South Carolina State in a series dating back to 2010 with the Aggies holding an 3-8 lead in the series.
- The last time these two teams met was in 2022 when the Aggies knocked off the Bulldogs 41-27 in Greensboro, NC at Aggie Stadium.
- Graduated quarterback Eric Phoenix leads the way in passing throwing 54-of-86 for 532-yards and two (2) touchdowns. Phoenix is averaging 177.3 yards per game.
- Junior running back Deondra Duehart has carried the football 43 times for 228-yards (5.3 ypg) and two (2) touchdowns.
- Caden High leads the receiving corps with 19 catches for 179-yards and one touchdown, while Senior wide receiver Justin Brown-Smith adds 15 catches for 171-yards.
- Senior punter Dyson Roberts was named MEAC Special Teams Player of the Week. Roberts (P, 5-11, 187, Sr., Sumter, S.C.) amassed 257 yards on six punts (42.8 avg) with one touchback. The senior punter registered two kicks over 50 yards including a long of 72 yards and placed two punts inside the 20.
- Diego Addison spears head the defense with 16 tackles and three (3) tackles for loss, while Daythan Peterson is second on the 12 tackles and two (2) tackles for loss.
