Rachida Berjane. Berjane is a four-year All-MEAC performer with the tennis team and has been key part of the four Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Women's Tennis Championships (2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024) and NCAA Division I appearances during her career. She is a native of Casablanca, Morocco, and set to graduate May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Management. Q: What is your greatest memory as a part of the SC State Women's Tennis Championship Team?
A: Winning my last championship this season with my teammates after months of hard work and dedication.
Q: What would you say was one of the biggest challenges you faced as a member of the team?
A: Overcoming injuries and maintaining peak performance throughout the season.
Q: What would you tell your younger self at this point?
A: Trust the process, stay focused, and believe in yourself even during the toughest moments.
Q: What was the best advice given to you throughout your career?
A: "Stay mentally tough and never give up, no matter the circumstances."
Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: Exploring opportunities in sports management or coaching.
Q: When I am not interacting with tennis, I am doing?
A: Spending quality time with family and enjoying some alone time
Q: If I wasn't involved in tennis, I would be doing what?
A: Probably pursuing a career in another sport
Q: A hidden talent I have no one knows about is?
A: I'm actually quite skilled at playing rugby

A: My parents, for their unwavering support and guidance throughout my journey.
