ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State men's and women's tennis teams look to remain on top of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) standings when they host visiting Norfolk State Monday (April 1) at the Hardeep Judge Tennis Center.
First serve for the women is 10 am, followed by the men in a 2 pm start.
Both teams are coming off an impressive showing in their last outing at the MEAC Roundup in Cary, NC. The Bulldogs remain undefeated in league play at 3-0 MEAC with wins over Morgan State 7-0, Howard 6-1 and Coppin State 7-0 to improve to 9-5 overall.
Meanwhile, the women enter the contest at 4-0 perfect mark with wins over Howard 5-2, Morgan State 7-0, Coppin State 7-0 and Delaware State 5-2 to improve to 10-3 overall.
Norfolk State men are 9-7 overall, 3-0 in the MEAC, while the Lady Spartans are 3-12 overall, 1-3 in the league.
NEXT UP: The Bulldogs are back in action on Thursday (April 4) on the road at Radford, while the Lady Bulldogs battle College of Charleston on Friday (April 5) in Charleston, SC.
