HILTON HEAD, SC---The South Carolina State men's tennis team improved to 6-5 on the season after a 6-1 victory over Rider University in non-conference play at the Hilton Head Spring Invitational.
The Bulldogs claimed their second straight victory after claiming the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 spot (6-4) and the No. 2 spot (6-2).
In men's single action SCSU men claimed victories at the No.1 spot
Novak Novakovic def.Tangri (7-6, 6-0); at the No. 2 spot
Mikalai Bankou def. Griseti (7-6, 5-1); at the No. 3 spot Aissa Benchakourn def. Martinez (6-0, 6-4); at the No. 5 spot
Gabriel Johnson def. Grimes (6-2, 6-0) and at the No. 6 spot
Ivan Pauliuchenka def. Agrittier (6-4, 6-4).
